website_photo_youthLiberal Judaism is committed to creating the future leadership of our communities and to the personal development of young people.  Since the inception of the Outreach Team in 2012, the Community Youth Coordinator, who is currently Sam Grant, has been hard at work increasing the quality and quantity of youth provision across the communities. In particular, running Youth Clubs and setting exciting sustainable community projects such as the LAFTAs (Liberal Academy Film and Torah Awards) and the B’nei Mitzvah Israel Tour Voucher Project. One of the main roles of the Community Youth Coordinator is to train teenagers in hadracha (leadership) and get them involved in running the community youth clubs or working on some of the national youth events that are run through our incredible Youth Movement LJY-Netzer.

Our community Youth Coordinator is separate but connected to the Youth Movement, LJY-Netzer, which runs national events such as Half term weekend sleepovers, Spring and Summer Camps, Israel Tours and lots of other brilliant events. You can find out more about the Youth Movement here – www.ljy-netzer.org.
