Join our young adult post-Purim party

13 March 2016

Liberal Judaism has teamed up with the Movement for Reform Judaism for a post-Purim party with a difference.

The annual Progressive Purim party will take place in Camden on Thursday March 24, from 8pm, and is open to all young adults and their friends.

Purim is the festival when up is down and down is up, so this year’s theme is to ‘come as you’re not’ – in Purim fancy dress.

There will be karaoke with Josh Moritz and a live house band. The group will be playing throughout the night, and welcoming anyone to sing, rap or play with accompaniment from the band. Choose from a list of songs, or simply ask for a particular request.

Plus with bank holiday the next day, there’s no excuse not to stay out late!

Tickets cost £6 in advance, or £8 on the door, and include a first drink. All proceeds go to tzedakah (to fulfil the Purim mitzvah of gifts to the poor).

This promises to be an inclusive, welcoming environment for everyone in their 20s and 30s. So do come – we’d love to see you.

This is a joint party between Reform Young Adults, LJ Routes, West London Synagogue, EDRS, HRS, FRS, Alyth and Takum.
